If you ever stop in at Glass Alchemy you will find Thomas buried in computer code and chemistry books. Thomas draws from his 9 years on the torch and combines this experience with his knowledge of science to help bring new products and colors to the community.

Since Glass Alchemy was first established, Thomas has worked with Henry and Susan at the family business during his breaks from school. Upon graduation, Thomas knew he wanted to join the company and be a part of the lampworking community and the growing borosilicate industry.

Thomas first got on the torch when he was 14 and immediately fell in love with glass and is passionate about working with the artists to create new directions. One of Thomas' favorite parts of his job is working with lampworkers and watching how they continue to evolve lampworking techniques. As the artists evolve, Thomas sees this as a call to action to keep up by producing new colors and products. If you ever have color suggestions, or technical questions, Thomas is the person to contact.

When Thomas is not on the torch, you can find him riding his classic Schwinn bike or playing music with one of his bands.
