About Dragon Tears, 5981

Dragon Tears is a transparent blue silver borosilicate glass from Glass Alchemy that combines the clarity of Blue Dream with a gentle silver reaction.

Designed for a light, controlled strike, it develops soft fumey effects while maintaining its transparent blue base. Reduction brings the silver to the surface, and longer kiln cycles deepen the reaction without overwhelming the color.

For a stronger silver reaction, try Dragon Tears V2.

Working Tip: Work in a neutral flame and use a slightly reducing flame to bring the silver effects to the surface.  Long kiln times will darken the effects, the base color will stay the same.
