About Ultramarine, 416

Ultramarine is a deep blue-green borosilicate glass that now falls between Aquamarine and Atlantis on the Glass Alchemy blue-green spectrum. As the formula has been refined over time for improved clarity and consistency, the color has shifted slightly cooler and more blue than earlier generations.

A highly usable copper-free color, it offers excellent stability in the flame with no concern about livering or reduction shifting the color.

Smooth and tolerant of long working times, Ultramarine performs reliably across a wide range of lampworking applications.

Working Tip: This is a user friendly color and can withstand long working times.  As always, we suggest you use a neutral flame.
