About Cobalt-2, 512

Cobalt-2 is a bright transparent cobalt blue borosilicate glass that sits between Cobalt-1 and Cobalt-3 in the Glass Alchemy Cobalt Series.

Light enough to maintain strong illumination while offering noticeably more saturation than Cobalt-1, it provides a versatile cobalt density across a wide range of lampworking applications.

Smooth, stable, and easy to control in the flame, it performs especially well in beads, sculptural work, and general bench applications.

Working Tip: Work in neutral flame to avoid reduction (gray streaks).
