About Pastel Serum, 1925

Pastel Serum is a color-shifting borosilicate glass based off of Serum and built on a soft pastel base that shifts from warm ivory with a soft peach tone in natural light to soft pink under compact fluorescent light (CFL).

It offers a lighter, more delicate color-changing effect than Serum, making it a strong choice for lampworking applications where a softer, more diffused look is desired.

The pastel base softens the color and light interaction, creating a creamy, subtle finish while still maintaining a clear shift between lighting conditions.

Working Tip: Be sure not to get this color too hot when in a thin application as to not cook out the pastel base and turn it transparent.  Work in a neutral flame. Blow outs work best with the pastel colors.
