About Serum, 1995

Serum is a color-shifting borosilicate glass that moves from champagne yellow in natural light to a soft pink under compact fluorescent light (CFL).

The original CFL-reactive color, Serum was the first intentionally engineered borosilicate to deliver a strong, visible shift—setting the standard.

Easy to work and widely used in lampworking, it’s a go-to for pieces where lighting transforms the final look.
