The Third Annual European Functional Flameoff is right around the corner!!  

From September 30-October 2nd, lampworkers from across Europe will gather in Barcelona to showcase their talent and compete in this competition. 

Glass Alchemy has sponsored this event from the beginning and has worked closely with the show organizer, Lars Svanstrom, to help build cross cultural relationships as the functional lampworking scene grows across Europe.  As a Main Sponsor, Glass Alchemy works with Lars throughout the year to promote glassblowing in Europe; helping to support smaller events in Spain, Italy, Denmark and more!

This year, the European artists will be joined by US based artist @doshworld, @elboglass, and @jolexglass.  While in Barcelona, these artists will be demoing, collabing and judging the Third European Functional Flameoff.
